- All anglers must follow all state and federal laws pertaining to fishing, boating and other marine activities.
- Anglers may only fish in freshwater that is open to public.
- Anglers must hook, catch and land their fish on their own, unassisted
- Anglers must be in 6 years – 15 years old and abide by all fishing regulations such as gear type, bag and size limits.
- Anglers may use bait or lures.
- Anglers may fish from kayak, motorized vessel, shore, etc.
- If anglers are using bait, they must use circle hooks.
- Anglers may not hire or use a professional guide during the tournament.
- No stringer or fish baskets allowed
- No Chumming
- All anglers must register and pay the registration fee ON THE REELTIME APP at www.reeltimeapps.com and select the Casting Chaos tournament to participate.
- No refunds of registration fees.
- All participants must have their Parent/guardian sign a release waiver.
- The tournament is catch and release with picture.
- Anglers must provide their own digital camera or digital device and submit all images to the FISH ON TOURNAMENTS app.
- Anglers must wear the wrist band provided at Angler’s meeting and include the wrist band in any submitted photos.
- Photos of fish must be taken with the nose of the fish against the vertical side of the board marked 0 inches, with the wrist band in the picture. Submit all photos by species, indicating the size and other specifics to the FISH ON TOURNAMENTS app.
- Tarpon may not be landed or submitted. They will not be counted.
- All anglers and their parent/guardian must attend an Angler's Meeting the night prior to the tournament. You will not be permitted to fish if you do not attend this mandatory meeting on Saturday, March 15th.
- Lines in the water: 7:00 am-----Lines out of the water: 2:00 pm
- All fish must be photographed and submitted to the Fish Angler app no earlier then 7 am and later than 2:15 PM on the day of the tournament to be counted. Judges will verify and approve all appropriate submissions. Incorrect or late submissions will be rejected.
